Ordered for the first time this week and I’m very impressed. I’ve only had FitFoods in the past but this is much better. I love how there is variety and the menu changes so you’re not eating the same exact thing every week, also LOVE the containers they use. The food does not get watery or soggy when heating it up which I very much appreciate. I’ll definitely continue to order from them. Update: I ordered from them again this week and was shocked by how good it is. The creamy garlic chicken was the best chicken I’ve probably ever had in my life, and the taco bowl was soooooo good. My only complaint is the website is really glitchy and needs some work but the food is worth it.
I've just started using PDX Meal Prep and I'm so incredibly impressed. Not only did Jean work with my travel schedule for delivery, the food is also so good. So many meal prep services taste bad or just have zero flavor, this isn't the case for PDX. I also feel completely full after each meal! I just upped my number of meals per week from 10 to 15.
I'm so glad I found PDX meal prep! After a 'trial run' month of ordering 10 meals a week, I am sticking with it. Dinner has never been quicker or healthier; I pop a healthy meal in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 375°, and that's it. The menu has ~16 regular meals, and 3 that rotate every week. Almost half of the meal options are vegan, and they're actually good! I love that the produce is locally sourced, and that the company is family owned. At first, I thought I would be hungry all the time because the Get Lean meals look small; to my surprise, they actually fill me up, and I'm getting more used to correct portion sizes, instead of the massive over-sized portions served by restaurants. Customer service has been FANTASTIC!! I recently left my refrigerator open overnight, and my entire week of meals went bad (my own fault). I contacted support to re-order, and Jean was quick to help me out so that I wouldn't miss a week of meals. Compared to other meal prep services in Portland, PDX Meal Prep's prices are competitive, and reasonable.
First impression was the food is really, really good. This is the first I've used any meal prep delivery and it went above my expectations. It's a little pricier than some of the other meal plans that you cook yourself, but it's well worth the little bit extra to get local and fresh food. I started using Postmates a lot since COVID started which gets expensive, so this has been a great way to save money and eat much healthier. If there's a meal or two at the end of the week that I'm not able to eat, I simply freeze it for later. The rotating menu and amount of options is really nice too.
So excited that PDX Meal Prep was recommended to me. I've only ordered twice, but the meals have all been fresh, filling, and tasty considering how healthy they are! Customer service has also been super friendly and quick to respond with answers to my questions. I am very much looking forward to not have to think about what meals I need to cook for the week anymore!
I have been using PDX Meal Prep for several months now and I am extremely impressed. Health, delicious meals conveniently packaged and delivered to your doorstep every week. Burrito bowls, fresh salmon, and protein pancakes with fresh fruit have been some of my favorite choices so far. Local, fresh food that’s at a great price! Delicious and quality prepared meals that are also super nutrition focused. Other prepared meal places are just not healthy or are super salty. This is just focused on health, quality, flavor and customizable portion sizes! With great customer service. Highly recommend!
I recommend you definitely TRY THIS meal service! I would prefer to support a family owned business like this anyways, and so far I am very impressed by the food quality and taste. Their food is VERY FRESH! It is healthy and delicious which is not easy to acheive. Also when I reached out to them with questions about my order, the employee who I spoke with was very friendly. Great customer service! The owners seem to be active and fast at responding. My meals were delivered in a cooler with an ice pack that kept my meals cold, and fresh. The delivery is always on time during Sunday mornings, and I like how the staff communication is on point. Thank you guys! Happy customer here!(:
This is a wonderful, highly reliable service. I've been using it weekly for a couple of months now. My meals typically include a serving of a protein, a carb (usually rice), and a vegetable. I especially like the white fish (usually tilapia) and whenever I get Spanish rice I'm especially happy with that. I've discovered that adding a few herbs/spices and a bit of bottled dressing individualizes flavor to my personal taste. Delivery is every Sunday morning to my door (to my door specifically, within my condo bldg. - which i SO appreciate) in a cold bag with a little ice blanket. I'm able to return the bags and ice blankets for reuse. There's not a lot of unnecessary packaging. Every week (by Thurs. night) I can go online and choose my 6 meals for delivery the following Sunday. l had a problem with getting what I wanted one week. I think it was actually my fault; i believe i put in the new order but didn't hit the finalizing button. The owner was so incredibly responsive, helpful, and pleasant. These are just the nicest people. As a 78 year old who has some trouble getting enough protein when i'm left to my own devices, i really appreciate these meals i can pop in the microwave for 2 minutes. Highly recommend this service.
